Technical visit to Germany

As part of our program in Germany with ABAG, we visited the potato farm Kartoffelaufbereitungs- und Handels GbR (KAH) in the Magdeburger Börde region. Founded in 1996, the company operates under an associative system, allowing several partner farms to deliver high-quality products, such as the Belana, Laura, and Lilly varieties, with international certifications like Global GAP and QS.

One of its highlights is energy efficiency, through the use of biogas and modern refrigeration systems, minimizing the environmental impact of the production chain. This care extends to the management of biodiversity on the farms.

KAH also stands out for its regional marketing. The Regionalfenster seal reinforces this identity. Careful storage in crates, which prevents physical damage to the product, extends its excellent availability until the following year.
